The Cabin is single unit, not part of a resort, so there is no need to share any of the amenities. Plus, when it comes time to get out and explore, you’re just minutes from dining, shopping, entertainment venues & more.
Whether you are looking to kick back around the fire pit, hit the lake for some fun & fishing, or head into town to explore, The Cabin is the perfect spot. It’s like having your own place on the lake!

The Cabin features 2 bedrooms with full size beds plus a sofa sleeper, to accommodate up to 6 people. The kitchen includes dishes, utensils, cookware, microwave, toaster, & coffee pot. We ask that you supply your own towels, wash clothes, & dish towels.
For your relaxation & recreation, the patio features a picnic table, fire pit, and an amazing view of Lake Chetek. If you need a boat, a 14' fishing boat with 15hp, electric start Mercury motor is available to rent. If you’re looking for something larger, we have 22 ft. pontoon with a 60hp motor available. When you’ve caught your limit of fish, you can clean them in our fish house. The fish house even has a chest freezer for all your fish storage needs.
The Cabin also offers all the little things that make a vacation especially enjoyable. Local firewood is available nearby for the patio fire pit. The western view off the patio, or from the dining room, offers stunning sunset views over Lake Chetek. When it’s time to move inside, a recliner and color television welcome you in. Central air conditioning keeps The Cabin comfortable on the hottest Summer nights.
Whether you’re out for an adventure or just want to enjoy a seat in the sun, The Cabin has so much to offer. We’re right around the corner from delicious dining and exciting nightlife. Plus, we’re just down the road from a vast array of shops, community events, parks, and much more. Prefer a more remote experience? Take the short drive to the scenic Blue Hills, explore the many back roads, or walk the Ice Age Trail.

The Cabin is smoke-free and pet-free. To ensure availability, please reserve fishing boat or pontoon at time of booking.
No fireworks allowed.
$250 non-refundable deposit is required. In the event of cancellation, if we are able to rebook that date, your deposit may be applied to a similar reservation the following year. Please make checks payable to Paul Newman
